On January 14, 2025, Kyiv will host an important conference, "Peace for Ukraine: A Slovak Perspective," which will bring together public figures, journalists, and activists from Ukraine and Slovakia. This event is a symbolic and effective response to the diplomatic initiatives of Slovak government officials aimed at rapprochement with Russia and demonstrates that Slovak civil society is firmly on the side of Ukraine.
Objective: The official launch of the Ammunition for Ukraine II initiative, which aims to show that if the Slovak government is unable to support Ukraine, concerned citizens will do so. Participants will also discuss joint steps to combat Putin's propaganda in Slovakia and Ukraine.
During the first round of the Ammunition for Ukraine initiative, more than EUR 4.4 million was raised.

The conference is targeted at Ukrainians to show that Slovak citizens continue to support Ukraine in its struggle for independence and freedom despite the openly pro-Russian policy of the Slovak authorities.
