About us

The Institute for European Security Studies (IESS), a nonprofit organization based in Kyiv, Ukraine, was founded in 2024 to address the hybrid threats and geopolitical challenges of the 21st century. Dedicated to countering propaganda and disinformation in Eastern and Central Europe, the Institute provides expert analysis and alternative perspectives to strengthen regional resilience.

By fostering sustainable connections among non-governmental experts, promoting Ukraine’s European integration, and combating Russian disinformation in Central Europe, we aim to uphold democratic values and deepen Ukraine's integration into the Euro-Atlantic community.
